Description
Instructions:
The original Gopher Getter works on cool or windy days to help bring gophers and prairie dogs out of their holes. It has a very high, dry sound but is not very loud, so don’t expect it to be as loud as a typical whistle. Blow once or twice to clear it. Use the call by sucking through the mouthpiece to make a short, chip-like whistle. Do not blow except to clear it. Moisture buildup can temporarily disable the call, and you’ll have to let it dry on the inside before it will work again. Listen to the gophers and prairie dogs in the field and practice making a similar call back to them. Call only once or twice every 30 seconds to bring them back up after shooting or when the wind picks up. Take a break so you don’t overcall.
