An effective lure trail mimics the scent a “hot doe” leaves naturally as she walks. Start by controlling your human scent with Scent-A-Way products, then apply your favorite lure to the drag head, attach Retract-A-Drag to your belt and allow the drag head to trail behind you, creating your lure trail. Lure trails should intersect exisitng deer trails and pass within 10-20 yards of your stand, ending at a point that creats an effective shooting lane.
