Dry Flies

Superfly offers scores of dry flies and poppers. These flies are generally loved by freshwater fish everywhere as they sit upon the water imitating the tasty insects and creatures that are part of freshwater habitats everywhere. 

Example: Humpy

WHO: Trout, panfish, pike, bass, grayling. 

WHAT: Imitate adult aquatic insects and terrestrials (ie: grasshoppers, mosquitoes, mayflies, etc.). 

WHERE: Fished on the surfaces of lakes or rivers. 

WHEN: Use when fish can be seen feeding at the surface. 

HOW: Use a floating fly line with a 9’ – 12’ leader. 

TIP: Using dry fly floatant keeps flies floating high and dry.
